Jenn Mayberry
IG: @favairbrushgirl FB: Jenn Mayberry Jenn Mayberry holds a BFA in Fine Arts and a BA in Art History from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY. She began airbrushing in 1999, in her junior year of high school painting t-shirts at the local mall, and hasn’t put down the gun since. She began co-instructing the Old School Realism classes around the country at the renowned Airbrush Action Getaways in 2017; and co-instructs the Freedom to Freehand class at the Airbrush Art Circus, held bi-annually in San Antonio, TX and various locations in the United States. She also co-instructs private workshops nationally and internationally; in locations such as California, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Germany, and beyond. Her airbrush talents have been called upon as one of a few elite artists whom have represented House of Kolor/ Valspar Auto/Sherwin Williams, Anest-Iwata Medea Airbrush Company, FBS Custom Tape Company, and RTi-PBE DriAir Systems at the world famous SEMA Show held annually in Las Vegas, NV; of which she is once again scheduled to return this November. Most recently Jenn has had her work shown on the London runway as part of Ashley Williams' Fall 2020 fashion line. She has also been featured in international magazines out of Germany and England. Jenn's fine art interest are inspired by Neo-Pomeiism, Neoclassicism, and Magical Realism; and is currently exploring those themes and ideas in her work. Her website is: www.tempestairbrush.com |
Steve Gibson
IG: @air_oil_and_lead FB: Air Oil and Lead Steve Gibson is an airbrush artist whose technical abilities are inspired by traditional oil painting. He specializes in automotive murals and portraiture as well as fine art. He has a BA in Fine Art from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. His fine art efforts have been recognized by curators from both The Philadelphia Museum of Art as well as The Whitney Museum of Art with selections into group exhibitions in both Long Beach Island, NJ and New York City. His experimental nature, combined with a colorful and versatile work history make his pieces both highly original at their core as well as masterful in their execution. Notable bike builders Jesse James, and Paul Teutel Jr., of American Chopper, have called upon his caliber of excellence where he appeared on multiple episodes on the Discovery Channel in 2018. 2018 also saw the launch of his custom paint line with Createx Colors, airbrush work with Parisian fashion giant Balenciaga, as well as work with Sullen Clothing (release in 2019). He was proud to be a part of the inaugural Airbrush Art Circus event in 2017 that is now held annually in San Antonio, TX. Steve is also in his 10th year teaching studio classes in traditional approaches to drawing and painting at Cygnus Art Centre in Southern NJ. His website is: www.airoilandlead.com. |
