Jenn Gibson
Jenn Gibson, a Buffalo State College alumna with a BFA in Fine Arts and a BA in Art History, discovered her passion for airbrushing in 1998 during her junior year of high school—a passion she has fervently pursued ever since. Notably, she became a co-instructor for both the Freehand Realism classes at the prestigious Airbrush Action Getaways in 2017 and the Freedom to Freehand class at the Airbrush Art Circus in 2018.
Beyond her instructional roles, Jenn conducts private workshops both nationally and internationally. Recognized as an elite artist, she has represented esteemed companies like House of Kolor/Sherwin Williams, Anest-Iwata Medea Airbrush, RTi-PBE DriAir Systems, and FBS Tapes and Sprayers at the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas. For several years, she has collaborated with Createx Colors paint company, earning features in their annual product catalogue and creating numerous videos showcasing the versatility of their products. She has also recently released her Summer Hues Paint Set with Createx Colors. She brings their products on the road with her during her teaching engagements. Jenn’s airbrush talents have graced the runway during London Fashion Week 2020 with Ashley Williams design house, and in 2023, she collaborated with Urban Outfitters. She has also worked with renowned brands such as Hurley and the Philadelphia 76ers. Furthermore, she has gained international recognition through features in national and international magazines. Inspired by Neoclassicism and Magical Realism, Jenn channels these influences into her fine art endeavors. Currently, she explores these themes and ideas in her work. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Jenn is a co-owner of the beachfront t-shirt shop Surf & Spray, operating in partnership with her husband Stephen Gibson (Air Oil and Lead). Steve Gibson
Steve Gibson is an airbrush artist whose technical abilities are inspired by traditional oil painting. He specializes in automotive murals and portraiture as well as fine art. He has a BA in Fine Art from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. His fine art efforts have been recognized by curators from both The Philadelphia Museum of Art as well as The Whitney Museum of Art with selections into group exhibitions in both Long Beach Island, NJ and New York City.
His experimental nature, combined with a colorful and versatile work history make his pieces both highly original at their core as well as masterful in their execution. Notable bike builders Jesse James, and Paul Teutel Jr., of American Chopper, have called upon his caliber of excellence where he appeared on multiple episodes on the Discovery Channel in 2018. 2018 also saw the launch of his custom paint line with Createx Colors, airbrush work with Parisian fashion giant Balenciaga. He was proud to be a part of the inaugural Airbrush Art Circus event in 2017. Most recently, (2023-24) he has released a line of licensed limited edition collectors motorcycle shell tanks with the Frank Frazetta estate. Steve also taught studio classes in traditional approaches to drawing and painting at Cygnus Art Centre in Southern NJ for over 10 years.
