Where are the bathrooms?
- Simple washing instructions are: Turn garment inside out, wash in cold water, hang dry. Do not use bleach, hot water, or the dryer. You can iron your shirts if you're into that sort of thing.
- Hats: spot clean with a damp rag. Do not run through the dishwasher or the washing machine.
Will the paint run if it gets wet?
- No, we use a special acrylic based paint made specifically for airbrushing clothing. We heat set the paint to bond it to the fabric. If you follow the care instructions above, your painting should outlast your garment.
Will the paint fade?
- No, we use lightfast pigments, so they are able to withstand fun in the sun; with the exception of fluorescent colors, which are a "fugitive" color=ALL fluorescent paints fade over time, their bright pigment is what makes them not able to last. Ours will last for the life of the garment if it is not kept in direct sunlight for extended periods of time (like weeks on end).
If I bring in something, will you paint it?
- We do custom orders in the off season, so most likely your item will have to wait until after the summer. (Please email all inquiries for custom orders- [email protected] )
- We do not paint footwear of any kind
- We do not paint helmets
How long have you been airbrushing?
- Both Steve and Jenn have over 25 years behind the brush individually.
Do you give lessons?
- Stay tuned
